Keller: Control your life with the right attitude

Most people have a desire to be successful. I’ve learned that successful people have a clear understanding of the relationship between cause and effect in their lives.
Successful people understand that if they want something, they have to do all the necessary things to get it.
“If I do this, then that will happen. If I don’t do that, then this will happens.”
This important skill allows successful people to anticipate and plan for the future.
Unfortunately, we live in a culture that teaches the opposite of responsibility. If something good happens, it’s luck.
If something bad happens, it’s definitely someone else’s fault, certainly not mine.
The belief that we are not responsible sabotages all the power that can be found in taking responsibility for our lives.
The majority of people identify success with being famous and wealthy.
The best definition I’ve found and believe is that success comes from being in God’s Will for your life.
The successful people I know have good attitudes, regardless of the situation and with their power of choice have made good choices. Making good choices with a good attitude will be evident in the positive action they take.
Keep in mind that the successful person is not lucky.
They controlled their attitude and made wise decisions as they enthusiastically took action that led to their success.
