Enthusiastic response greets LaPlace Goodwill grand opening

LAPLACE — Parish leaders and company officials gathered Thursday to officially open Goodwill on Carrollwood Drive in LaPlace.
The gently used reseller boasts clothing, furniture and housewares for sale at great prices.
Betty Robinson, Cecilia Rosing and Cynthia Robinson were part of the crowd excited to see what the new LaPlace Goodwill offered shoppers.
Shirley Cicet, Jennifer Beloney and Chelsie Ewell wait in line Thursday for the store to open.
