Sugar Queen Pageant celebrating 70 years this Saturday
RESERVE — The St. John Sugar Queen is celebrating 70 years of pageantry.
This will be a celebration community members won’t want to miss. Organizers welcome the public to “The Greatest Show” How Sweet It has Been! — where they will take attendees on a memorable journey.
The pageant starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter School, 188 West 7th Street in Reserve, where the pageant first began.
Tickets will be on sale from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the lobby of St. Peter Catholic School and Saturday, beginning at 6 p.m. prior to the pageant.
