The St. John the Baptist Parish School Board recently presented West St. John High School with a banner recognizing its achievement of being named a bronze school by U.S. News and World Report.
It is the second year in a row the school has made the national list, which ranks schools based on its performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college.
