Coding & 3D Print Day Camp offers STEM instruction

LUTCHER — St. James Parish natives Rodney Kirklin of Form Technology and Tiffany Kirklin Major of T. Major Design are hosting Coding and 3D Print Day Camp from at 9 a.m. to noon July 28 at First Community Antioch Baptist Church.
For $20, the camp offers an introduction for any child interested in the STEM field. The course objectives include:
• Learn the fundamentals of coding an application using programming language
• Learn the basics of 3D modeling
• Bring your design to life using 3D Printing
Camp participants will walk away with the knowledge of basic programming language and how to design a 3D model.
“We are excited to bring coding and 3D modeling to St. James Parish,” Rodney Kirklin said.
“3D printing and computing is the future. This camp is a great opportunity that parents shouldn’t miss out on!”
