The South East Louisiana Warriors Elite AAU ages 14 and under competed in the SUPER 6 National Championship July 7-9 in Orlando, Fla., and won first in their age division. The squad defeated opponents from Miami, Tampa, Wisconsin and South Carolina.

Based in St. John the Baptist Parish, the Warriors have played together since age 8, according to coach Randall Campbell.

“They didn’t let unforeseen circumstances change their hearts from competing,” Campbell said. “That names these brave young men SELA Warriors Elite.”
