Area man indicted for Kenner bank robbery

NEW ORLEANS — Dillon Davis, 25, of Destrehan, has been indicted for bank robbery.
U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced the federal indictment says Davis entered Chase Bank on Williams Boulevard in Kenner and demanded $1,000 in cash from a bank teller.
If convicted of the violation, Davis faces a maximum of 20 years, a fine of up to $250,000, a period of up to three years supervised release and a mandatory special assessment of $100.
Evans praised the work of the Kenner Police Department and the FBI in investigating this matter. Assistant United States Attorney Brittany L. Reed is in charge of the prosecution.
