Jack Owen Pinkstaff, 74, and a resident of LaPlace for 40 years, died Friday evening, June 29, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Bonnie Pinkstaff, to whom he had been married for 48 years.
They had three sons: R. Todd Musgrave (Michele), Ryan Pinkstaff (Amy), and Bradley Pinkstaff (Dana). He also had seven grandchildren that he adored, Caroline, Will, Ben, Gunner, Chandler, Jack and Lucy.
He loved playing golf and had a special foursome including Jack Coleman, Donnie Boudreaux and Billy St. Martin.
He had also taught himself to play the guitar. It was his way of unwinding after a stressful day.
He also had two men that held a special place in his heart. They were Joe and Ray Caldarera.
Jack worked for Marathon Oil Company right after graduating from college and continued until his retirement in 1994.
He was a kind man whose greatest reward was spending time with his family. The family shared in a celebration of his life, which would have made him very happy.
He will be missed but always remembered with love.
