Acadiana Cinemas in LaPlace is holding a fundraiser between 6:40 and 8 p.m. Wednesday to help Nick Rose, a recent Riverside Academy graduate who was seriously injured when struck by a vehicle on his senior trip. Acadiana Cinemas will donate $2 of every adult ticket and $1 of every child or senior ticket to Nick’s family, along with 50 percent of concession revenue.

A raffle, silent auction and donation drive will also take place.

Rose worked at Acadiana Cinemas and is still in critical condition.
