La. Calling has conducted approximately 2,500 surveys from high school students in the tri-parish area on their awareness of career opportunities available. Stay tuned for the details forthcoming.

On June 6, the River Region Chamber graduated its first Leadership River Region Class. The 2018 Inaugural Class of 21 received their completion awards for a nine-month commitment facilitated by The Slone Group.

The Chamber sees this offering as a true affinity to our community. It brings together a diverse cross-section of businesspeople to get a greater understanding of the River Region to brainstorm possible solutions to some of our issues and concerns.

The newest networking opportunity, Chamber Connections Luncheon will take place June 20 at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Parish Hospital Community Room.
