Students finding their ‘English’ voices

LaPlace Elementary School was named a 2017-18 School of Excellence by Imagine Learning for its work helping English as a Second Language students improve their English skills.
The school uses Imagine Learning software to help students learn English by teaching them the phonetics of the language, as well as allowing them to record their own voices so they can improve pronunciation.
LaPlace Elementary was recognized for its high usage of the program and was the only school in Louisiana to be recognized.
