Superintendent Kevin George, left, and the St. John the Baptist Parish School Board recognized East St. John High School teacher Billie Duncan at the May 10 School Board meeting for being chosen to attend the CTE Leadership Academy. Duncan is one of just 24 educators throughout Louisiana chosen to be a member of the first cohort of the CTE Leadership Academy, which focuses on maximizing the potential of career technical education.
