HAMMOND — Nearly 50 students at Southeastern Louisiana University were inducted into the university’s chapter of national honor society Phi Kappa Phi.

Included, from St. John the Baptist Parish, is Alexandra Steib, a senior pursuing a degree in Business.

She is the daughter of Catherine and Les Steib of LaPlace and is an alumni of Riverside Academy.

Alexandra will be a summer intern at Louisiana Special Olympics and will be pursuing her MBA.
