Addisyn Alliece Teekell, daughter of Benjamin Charles Teekell and Autumn Christy Teekell, was born on Feb. 27, 2013, and passed away on April 6, 2018.
Addisyn will forever be cherished by her big sister Ashtyn Joy Teekell.
Addisyn was preceded in death by grandparents Charles Edward Cole, Barbara Pat Sample Cole and her “Papa,” Glenn Williams.
Addisyn is survived on her father’s side by Charles “Pu-paw” and Theresa Teekell, “Big Momma” Alliece Cole, Pat “Luvie” and Dion “Uncle Donnie” Cole and Aunt Donna.
She is survived on her mother’s side by Nancy Williams, Israel Williams, Cole and Summer Gonzales, Brian and Spring Vicknair, Chadwick and Jordan “Mimi” Chapman, Ronnie and Dana Colgin, Jeannie and Juan Hernandez, April and Ceiler Lugo, many loving cousins and numerous other relatives.
At an early age, Addisyn professed her faith in Jesus Christ. Healing Place Church and The Church in Saint Amant were second homes to Addisyn.
Services will be held at the Healing Place Arena in Baton Rouge on Saturday, April 14.
A public ceremony will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The service will begin at 11 a.m.
Following the service, a processional will travel to Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Much like her parents, Addisyn loved to serve those around her. Benjamin, a K-9 Deputy with the St. John Parish Sheriff Office, is requesting law officers join in celebrating Addisyn’s life at the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “Tu-Tu’s for Addisyn.” All proceeds and tu-tu’s will be donated to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge.
Another great way to honor Addisyn’s memory is to donate to the Ascension Parish Head Start Program, which greatly contributed to Addisyn’s growth and education.
Although we will greatly miss our beautiful “Princess” Addisyn, we know that she is in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
