Jack Brown went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 96 years of age.

He was born in 1921 in Velasco, Texas, and he was a resident of LaPlace for over 30 years.
Mr. Brown was a WWII Marine veteran who loved his family and was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church throughout his life.
He was the beloved husband of the late Sarah Burkhardt Brown; father of Diane Keller, Donna Brown, Michael Brown and the late Sharon Beckham; stepfather of Rosalin Maturin, Janet Homan and Stanley Burkhardt; son of the late Merle Stratton and Perry M. Brown; and brother of Clive Merle Rush and the late Perry M. Brown Jr., Ford Brown, Frances Willenberg, Mina Hrobar and Dixie Brown.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at 10 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14 at First United Methodist Church, 301 Bamboo Road in LaPlace.
Interment follows in Metairie Cemetery.
