- April 3, 1975: Pam Taylor and Craig McKenzie, sixth graders at Woodland School in LaPlace, present a bouquet of roses to principal Emily Watkins as teacher Betty Clement watches. The presentation was made as part of Teacher Appreciation Week activities at the school.
April 4, 1985: Members of the Garyville VFW Auxiliary 8167 sponsored an Easter party for clients and staff of St. John ARC Day Developmental Training Center in Reserve. Auxiliary president Inez Duhon, far right, and three other auxiliary members served muffins and soft drinks. Auxiliary members present were Ethel Scharwath, Leona Miano and Elise Cambre. ARC staff on hand were Audrey Gregoire, Linda Lambert, Kay Speights, Beverly Butler and Gene Keller.
April 5, 1995: Meg Spatz of Tops Gymnastics helps Riverside gymnast Bonnie Louque over the pummel horse. Spatz coaches East St. John, Riverside and Destrehan.
