DeMarco Welding Service shares with college students

Tony DeMarco, of DeMarco Welding Service, recently gave a demonstration to RPCC Reserve Campus Welding and HVAC students on the Art and Science of Oxygen and Acetylene Safety.

Welding Instructor Earl Dominique prepares students to take the American Welding Society Entry Level Welder test.

Instruction is provided in various processes and techniques, including Oxyfuel Cutting, Carbon Arc Cutting, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Flux-core Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Pipe-welding, Plasma Arc Cutting and Blueprint Reading.

There are credit and non-credit curriculums. With the completion of the degree program, students can earn a Technical Diploma, Certificate of Technical Studies or a Technical Competency Area.

A 15-week, non-credit Welding Course is offered from 5 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays at a cost of $475.
