Reserve resident Robin Torres, a junior at Archbishop Chapelle High School, recently quilted and donated approximately 200 pillowcases to the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home and a local nursing home.

Robin spent two years, according to her mother, matching fabrics, cutting them and sewing the final products.

Each pillowcase has a label inside so the recipient’s name can be added.
