- Mia Matthews, right, of LaPlace was recently recognized for her resilience in overcoming life altering injuries sustained in a 2012 car wreck at the Celebration of Women awards gala in Baton Rouge. In honor of National Woman’s Month, Follow Dreams Productions and PI 3.14 Inc./LaRue Esplanade Guesthouse New Orleans hosted the celebration of women of all walks of life.
