Peggy Anne Miano, 65, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, with beloved family at her side.

She was a lifelong resident of Garyville, a faithful parishioner of St. Hubert’s Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters.
She retired from the Louisiana State Department of Revenue after 40 years of service.
Peggy was the eldest daughter of Leona Marie Tamplain Miano and the late Sam Frank Miano and granddaughter to the late Mary Sancetta Miano and Frank Joseph Miano Sr. and Thomas and Wina Robert Tamplain.
Peggy is survived by her siblings, Gordon Joseph Miano (Donna), Craig James Miano (Linda), Kevin Paul Miano (Noot), Patricia Anne Miano Louque (David), Kelly Anne Miano Kitners (Tom) and many nieces and nephews.
She is sadly missed by family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace on Monday, April 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. and at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 176 Anthony Monica St. in Garyville on Tuesday, April 3 from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Interment is in St. Peter Cemetery.
