- Sixth grade students Hudson Heltz, left, and Joshua Jensen kneel in prayer and write their prayer intentions to leave on the altar.
St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church’s St. Joseph Altar Committee worked for months to bake cookies and to prepare items for their altar, which was open to the public.
Meatless meals were provided for donations.

2-year-olds Emerson Cancienne, left, and Christopher Druin pause to look over the variety of food items on the altar.
All proceeds from the altar are being used to support Daughters of Divine Providence Yucatan Mission, Our Lady of the America’s Mexico Mission and St. Laure Indian School in North Dakota.
The students at SJA School visited the altar as well.
