ST. ROSE — Registration is now open for the St. Charles Parish Department of Community Services’ Summer Enrichment Program, which offers recreational activities, field trips and educational components for children 5 through 12.

The program is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday from June 4 – July 13 at the following locations:

• Killona Community Center (201 Highway 3141 in Killona), 985-331-3030

• St. Rose Community Center (608 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose), 504-305-5138

• Boutte Community Outreach Program (119 River Road in Boutte), 504-615-1375

Lunch will be provided free-of-charge for attendees as they will be transported to nearby sites participating in the Summer Food Service program: a U.S. Department of Education program that ensures children in lower income areas continue receiving nutritious meals during the summer.
