LAPLACE — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced Friday morning that ramp closures for paving on the Interstate 10 and Louisiana 3188 (Belle Terre Boulevard) entrance and exit ramps would be in effect next week.

The I-10 westbound off ramp to Belle Terre Boulevard and westbound on ramp from Belle Terre Boulevard to I-10 westbound will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Sunday

I-10 eastbound and westbound on and off ramps to Belle Terre Boulevard will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

A detour for motorists will be posted.

Project Engineer Steve Perilloux said the transportation department is asking motorists to drive with caution through the work site and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
