Easter egg hunt planned for March 17

(Editor’s note: Due to inclement weather projected for this weekend, the annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held inside of the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center.)
LULING — The St. Charles Department of Parks and Recreation will be hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt March 17 at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center, 274 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway in Luling.
$2 donations will be accepted, and all proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics.
Registration begins in the main lobby at 9 a.m., with a hat contest at 10 a.m.
Egg Hunt Division Times: 10:30 a.m. – (1-2yrs age) Field 1, 10:45 a.m. – (5-7yrs age) Field 2, 11 a.m. – (3-4yrs age) Field 1 and 11:15 a.m. -(8-10yrs age) Field 2.
Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available for $5, and concessions will be available for purchase.
