VACHERIE — The eLearning Academy will host an information session at Vacherie Primary School at 7 p.m. Tuesday for enrollment in its K-12 program for the 2018-19 school year.
The eLearning Academy, located at 19177 Highway 643 in Vacherie, is a full-time, K-12 on-site school offering students a joint curriculum program with University View Academy, the state’s top academic performing online charter school.
At an eLearning Center, online instruction is supported with off-line guidance by eLearning staff offering extra teacher services, enrichment courses, tutoring and other direct services.
Parents choose the level of professional support they want for their children, from minimal to private-school level, on a fee-schedule.
eLearning has on-site instructional centers which work in tandem with University View Academy in Lafourche, East Baton Rouge, Lafayette, St. Mary and Terrebonne Parishes. Response to the Vacherie session will determine local interest in opening a new service location.
The eLearning joint program with University View Academy gives families in Louisiana increased access to the top-rated academic online public school offered by University View Academy, including its Early College Program which allows high schoolers to graduate with a diploma and two years towards a Louisiana college or Associate degree.
Families interested in attending the Vacherie information session will get the opportunity to learn about the curriculum, meet with staff, and thoroughly explore the school’s program.
University View and eLearning are authorized and approved by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Both schools are accredited.
Those interested in attending who would like more information can call Nancy Toups at 985-447-5994 or email ntoups@elearningk12.com.
