The Ascension of Our Lord, Knights of Columbus, Council 9623, hosted The District  Basketball Free Throw Competition this month at the St. Joan of Arc gymnasium in LaPlace.

More than 20 young basketball stars showed up to compete.

Winners from the different age groups advanced to The Diocesan Competition in Algiers.

11 year old girl – Haley Scioneaux, from The Reserve Council 2436.

11 year old boy – Brodey Becnel, from The Reserve Council 2436.

12 year old girl – Katherine Bergeron, from The AOL Council 9623.

12 year old boy – Christopher Douglas, from The Norco Council 3634,

13 year old girl – Bethany Alboudoor, from The Reserve Council 2436.

13 year old boy – Anias Zeno, from The AOL Council 9623.
