Mary Rose “Rose” Guaraggi Ghergich passed away on February 8, 2018, at the age of 89.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 ½ years, Luke Ghergich, and her children, Cynthia Anderson (Randy), Belinda Borne (Jody) and Robin LaBranche (the late Murphy “Jay”).

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Heather (Vic), Melissa (Bobby), Jason (April), Lindsey (Blake), Wesley (Amy), Jessie (Josh) and Chad; great grandchildren Alyssa, Lex, Gianna, Gabriel, Zain, Jenna, Audrey and Brooks; and siblings Lee, Jimmy, Mary and Steve, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Patrina Bosco Guaraggi, and siblings Josie, Sal and Pete.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road Destrehan on Thursday, Feb. 15, beginning at 9 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11 a.m.

Interment follows in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Rose’s name to the American Heart Association or Masses at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
