Lunches benefit newborn suffering through tumor

RESERVE — Brody Scott Johnson was born Jan. 8 with a brain tumor and underwent surgery to have it removed on Jan. 17. It will be a long road to recovery.

Benefit lunches to help Brody and his parents, Brandon Johnson and Harlie Bourgeois Johnson, are planned.

Orders for jambalaya, white beans, corn, bread and cake are available through Feb. 16.

Donations are welcome.

Benefit lunches are served Feb. 21, and delivery is available for plates of 10 or more.
