A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Ruth R. Vicknair will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at St. Peter Catholic Church Reserve.

Mrs. Vicknair was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Nov. 26, 1955, and departed from this life on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at 62 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Patricia Miller Remendet.

Survivors include her children, Angelie Vicknair (Junis Banks), Andy Vicknair (Lacey Delhommer Vicknair) and Archie Vicknair; her grandchildren, Tia Vicknair Clement (Kaleb), Caitlin Vicknair-Babin, Madison Vicknair, Aubrey and Lauryn Vicknair; and her great grandchildren, Kaiden and Karson Clement.

She is also survived by the father of her children, Adrian Vicknair, other relatives and friends.
