St. Joan of Arc announces science & social studies fair winners

St. Joan of Arc Catholic School held its annual Science and Social Studies Fairs, where students in sixth grade carried out experiments following the scientific method to create their projects for the science fair.

Seventh grade students researched topics of interest as they wrote reports and built projects for the social studies fair.

Judges viewed all projects and interviewed students before selecting winners in each category.

The Social Studies school level winners in the individual division of the social studies fair were (from left) (bottom row) in Geography: Alex Louque* in 1st place, Amelia Mouton in 2nd place, Brett Mader tied with Shayla Muse for 3rd place, and Reyondalin Smith as honorable mention; (2nd row) in History: Dillon McTopy* in 1st place, Myracle Revon in 2nd place, and tied as honorable mention Jordan Roberts, Morgan Hubbard, and Nathan Abadie; (3rd row) in Louisiana History: Sydney Stewart* in 1st place and tied as honorable mention Alexis Monistere and Brandon Little; in Anthropology: Emma Meneses* in 1st place; (top row) in Economics: Mia Oncale* in 1st place and Roderic Bergeron in 2nd place.
