- The Ascension of Our Lord Knights of Columbus Council No. 9623 sponsored the Basketball Free Throw Contest for boys and girls between 9 and 14. Pictured are, front row, from left, winners Miya Jackson, Prystyn Cambre, Janivy Ayestas, Alex Melancon, middle row, Vanezza Hodges, Isabella Portillo, Daniel Joseph, Katherine Bergeron, Wesley Jones, back row, Grand Knight Mike Abbate, Anias’ Zino, Aysia Brown and Mi’Kaaz Hoyal. Abbate presented a certificate to the winners, who go on to compete at the district level.
