All schools in the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District will remain closed on Thursday (Jan. 18).

School District leaders said all Maintenance Department employees and the head custodian at each school should report to work on Thursday.

Others who have announced closures include: Riverside Academy and St. Peter School in Reserve, as well as St. Charles Catholic High School, Ascension of Our Lord Catholic School and St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in LaPlace.
