Fay Johnston Albrecht passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness.

She was born on Feb. 24, 1931 in Shreveport and has lived in Reserve for the past 55 years.

She was the beloved wife of Dr. Robert C. Albrecht, MD for 65 years; mother of Cynthia G. Albrecht, Clay H. Albrecht, Gary R. Albrecht and the late Jane Albrecht Monk and Robert Albrecht Jr.; daughter of the late Claudia Herrington and A.W. Johnston Sr.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m.

Visitation is from 9 until 11 a.m.

Interment is in Westlawn Cemetery.
