Louisiana Ovation Vocal Ensemble presents Handel’s “Messiah,” holiday concert “Christmas At The Movies”

LULING — The Louisiana Ovation Vocal Ensemble is ready to perform for you, with three performances planned this Christmas season.
The Ensemble is presenting selections from Handel’s “Messiah,” accompanied by a Baroque Chamber Orchestra and invited singers from the surrounding area.
The free performance begins at 4 p.m. Dec. 3 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive in Luling.
Donations are appreciated.
The Ensemble is also presenting their holiday concert “Christmas At The Movies,” featuring songs from popular movies and television shows, such as “Home Alone,” “How The Grinch Stole Christmas,” “The Polar Express,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and many more.
Performances start at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at Lakewood Elementary, 501 E. Heather Drive in Luling and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road in Destrehan. Admission is free for “Christmas At The Movies,” but donations are accepted.
