LAPLACE — Police named a suspect in the armed robbery of a LaPlace business.

Detectives with the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office said Delvin Hutchinson, 23, of Metairie, is wanted in connection to the Nov. 14 armed robbery of Shoe Show on West Airline Highway in LaPlace.

Police said officers responded to the location last week and learned a man armed with a gun robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money.

Through investigation, detectives developed Hutchinson as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest last week. Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating Hutchinson.
