Photo feature: St. John deputies earn POST graduations

- Three St. John the Baptist Parish officers were among 26 graduates of the 2017 Peace Officer Standards and Training program (POST) conducted at the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Training Facility in Luling. The 14-week program included training in numerous fields. Deputies Michael Hicks, left to right, Katie Evans and Keith Duronslet, were recognized as certified Peace Officers Nov. 9. Evans was named valedictorian. Duronslet was honored for 21 years of military service, serving seven tours, in the Navy and Army.
