Students bring ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to life

More than 30 students at Ascension of Our Lord School participated in the Missoula Children’s Theatre Workshop.
Led by tour staff Shelby Coleman and Blaine Roberts, students in kindergarten through seventh grade participated in a weeklong workshop that included auditions at the beginning of the week, rehearsals for just a few days, culminating in a full length musical production of Alice in Wonderland at the end of the week.
The main characters included: Torie Joseph as Alice, Aysia Brown as Margaret, Caleigh Remondet as Queen of Hearts, Bryson Borne as King of Hearts, Donald Joseph as Knave of Hearts, and Payton Williams as Ace of Hearts.
Other cast members were: Amie Lewis as Gryphon, Kyndal Bolden as Mock Turtle, Imon Howard as March Hare, Tommy Simoneaux as the Mad Hatter, Conlin Robinson as the Fish & the Dormouse, Kennedi Tate as the Duchess, Gabrielle Matar as the Cook, Amarii Grinstead as the Frog, Brooke Ronnenburg as Humpty Dumpty, Layla Torres as Cheshire Cat 1, Briana Borne as Cheshire Cat 2, Alaya Howard as Cheshire Cat 3, Morghen Cosse as Tweedle Dee, Isabella Portillo as Tweedle Dum, Katherine Bergeron, Mallory Brennan, Snaya Daniels, Aimee Dauenhauer, Jordan Hayes and Hannah Ohlsson as the Flowers, and Terrence Bolden, Cannon Esko, Sadie Leblanc, Jurnee Moore, Cydnee Robinson, and Brooklyn Villemarette as the Lobsters. The accompanist was Kristen Brooks.
