LUTCHER — The Festival of the Bonfires is seeking young ladies between 13 and 23 years old to participate in the 28th Annual Festival of the Bonfires Pageant.

The Miss Festival of the Bonfires XXVIII and Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires XIX Pageant will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 25 at Lutcher High School.

Contestants in this year’s Teen division must be between 13 and 17 as of Nov. 25. Participants vying for the title of Miss Festival of the Bonfires must be between 18 and 23 as of Nov. 25.

All contestants must be residents of St. James or St. John the Baptist Parishes.

The deadline for entry is Nov. 4. A mandatory meeting will be held at 3 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Creole House, and all entry forms must be filled out, contracts signed and pictures will be taken the next day.
