Dudley John Beadle passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at the age of 86.

He was a native and life long resident of Reserve. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force and later retired from Shell Chemical Refinery in Norco.

He was the devoted husband of Doris Blank Beadle; father of Jody McLin (Clifford Jr.), Terrie Levet (Marvin) and Judith Beadle; and step-father of Marianne Bloemer (John), Vicky Tamplain (Mark), Susan Oubre (Jessie) and Freddie Champagne (Jennifer).

He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

He was the brother of Daniel and Wayne Beadle, Agnes Lovetro, former wife and friend, JoAnn Bourg Beadle and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levie Bergeron Beadle and Frank Beadle; daughter Laurie Beadle Cox; grandson Dudley Wayne Cox; brothers Henry, Richard, Milton and Frank Beadle; and sisters Ruby, Irene, Myrtle and Diane.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jamie, Kelly, Haley, Kimberly and Elenora with Americare Hospice Center for their loving care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Highway 44 in Reserve on Friday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m.

Visitation will begin in church at 9:00 a.m.

Interment is in St. Peter Cemetery.
