NORCO — The River Region Drama Guild will hold a Theatre Workshop for novices and veterans 15 and up who want to take to the stage, enjoy theater games, improvisation and fun.

The free Theatre Workshop will be held for four mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, beginning Sept. 9 and ending Sept. 30 at the River Region Performing Arts and Cultural Center, 15146 River Road in Norco.

Novices will learn the basic techniques of stage acting: using your voice, body and mind to pursue objectives, overcome obstacles, create characters and scenes, and work as an ensemble.

Veterans will have the opportunity to expand their performance skills and develop acting technique.

Participants will be paired up with appropriate partners for scenes.

Participants are on their feet in every class and each session contains games, scene work, specific assignment and cool-down.
