Shirley Montz Abadie passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017.
She was 77, a native of Gramercy and a resident of Reserve.

She was the beloved wife of Harry J. Abadie Sr.; mother of Harry J. Abadie Jr. (Monica), Anthony Abadie (Terri-Ann) and Lori A. Hattala (Billy); daughter of the late Marie Rossi Montz and Houston Montz; sister of Mary Montz Oubre and the late Irwin M. Montz and David M. Montz; grandmother of Holly Landry, Torri Abadie, Toni Adams, Bryan Abadie, Dylan Marse, Blake Marse and the late Katie Abadie; and great grandmother of Austin, Alyssa, Dayton, Cyara, Jasmine and Beckham.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Hwy 44, Reserve, LA on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 11 a.m.
Visitation will begin in church at 9 a.m. Interment is in St. Peter Cemetery.
