Tigerettes dance to team success

LaPlace Elementary School’s Tigerette Dance team recently attended a 2017 UDA Summer Dance Camp at Southeastern University in Hammond.
While at camp, the girls perfected their technique, learned new choreography and picked team-bonding skills. The team placed second in their Home Routine.
Selected as ‘All American’ were Trejae Bernard, Melody Francis, Alexis Baker, Amyah Littleton and Kaelen Washington.
Trejae Bernard, Melody Francis, Alexis Baker, Amyah Littleton and Kaelen Washington were awarded “All American,” earning them an invitation to perform at Walt Disney World’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Orlando.
