- June 19, 1975: Brent David Landry, left, a Webelos Scout, and John Wesley Waits III, a Cub Scout, proudly show off their Parvuli Dei (Little Children of God) Awards. The boys, both members of Pack 316, are the first in the Reserve area to receive the awards.
June 20, 1985: Wearing the pretty peach-colored dresses they wore for Senior Night are recently graduated members of West St. John High School, from left, Treneice Marie LaGrange, Trinell LaNae Dumas, Djuan Annette Bovie, Toneka Cecile Walker and Toni Lynn Songy. They greeted guests, gave out programs and served the meal. All are residents of Edgard.
June 20, 1995: Tommy Harper, left, of Destrehan throws a left jab at the Theatre of the Performing Arts. Harper scored a knock down in the third round and another in the fourth as the fight was called for a technical knockout, giving Harper a 7-0 record with seven knockouts.
