- June 6, 1974: Leon Godchaux High School Student Council members, from left, Gordon Taylor, Brenda Anderson, Rodney Scott, Tanya Arceneaux, Montrell Roberts, Sybil Weber and Melanie Millet accept an award of merit for the school from Ethel “Sing” Borne, cancer crusade chair. The School collected more money per capita than any other school in the parish.
