RESERVE — River Parish Community Theatre is holding an “NYC Package” raffle giveaway.

The package includes a three-day, two-night trip for two to New York, including airfare, hotel, tickets to a Broadway show and restaurant gift cards.

Some travel restrictions do apply, as timing and availability will vary.

Theatre Board President John LeBlanc said since organizers are in the early stages of producing the American family classic “Annie” as the summer production this year, they felt this was a great opportunity to create awareness about the organization and for a great show.

“Since our return to live summer shows three years ago, we have been welcomed by the community with open arms,” LeBlanc said. “Aside from the wonderful productions we create each year, this is another way to engage the community in the wonderful work we do.”

The raffle tickets are available from any cast member of “Annie” or from any River Parish Community Theatre member.

Tickets are $10 each for a chance to win this package, with an estimated value in excess of $2,000.

The drawing is expected to be held at the close of the final show. Annie runs July 14-16 and 20-22 at St. Peter School in Reserve. Log onto riverparishtheatre.org for more information about the raffle or “Annie.”
