W.T. “Dub” Rayborn

W.T. “Dub” Rayborn, 86, loving husband to Ann Rayborn, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at University Medical Center New Orleans.
Mr. Rayborn was born Aug. 5, 1930, in Jayess, Miss., to T.C. and Lucettie Rayborn.
Mr. Rayborn was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War and worked for United Gas for 33 years until retirement. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of LaPlace, where he also served as a Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T.C. and Lucettie Rayborn; his stepmother, Eliza Rayborn; one brother, Sherrod Rayborn; and two sisters, Aileen Rayborn Summerall and Willene Rayborn Alexander.
Mr. Rayborn is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann Terrell Rayborn of LaPlace; three sons, Gary Rayborn (Jodie) of Jackson, Keith Rayborn (Terri) of Zachary, Brian Rayborn (Lisa) of Silver Creek, Miss., one daughter, Cindy Rayborn of Lafayette, Ala.; one sister-In-law, Madeliene Rayborn of Monticello, Miss.; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rayborn’s Funeral Service was held May 17 at First Baptist Church of LaPlace on May 17.
Pallbearers were Derek Rayborn, Kyle Rayborn, Steven Copeland, Stephen Rayborn, Noah Nichols and Kevin Rayborn.
