The recent St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish Fair was held April 28 and 29; however, weather concerns canceled the fun April 29.

The school’s cheerleaders and band performed to kick off the event.

Exciting rides and fun games kept the children busy while the adults enjoyed live music.

A variety of food choices and drinks kept everyone satisfied, organizers said.

The annual SJA Fun Run was dedicated to Spencer Chauvin, an SJA graduate and St. John Parish firefighter who lost his life on duty.

Many of his family members were present and joined in the walk. Among them were children Jude and Jade, wife Jennifer, sister and nephew, Brittany and Bentley Borne and his mother, Donna.

Jacqueline St. Martin enjoys a trip down the slide.

Jennifer wore his firefighter gear as she accompanied her family on the course.
