RESERVE — St. Peter Catholic School students recently enjoyed a day in the business world through the Junior Achievement BizTown Program targeting fifth grade students.

St. Peter students joined with fifth graders from St. Charles Borromeo to explore the world of work and entrepreneurship while enhancing their personal economic literacy.

Students spent the day running their own companies and getting a taste of what will be expected of them as adults. They earned pay checks, wrote checks, made deposits, paid off loans and, every once in a while were thrown an unexpected curve ball, such as a leaky roof.
