LAPLACE — St. John Parish Administration and the Parish Council will host its annual Easter in the Park event, a free family-friendly Easter celebration, at Thomas F. Daley Memorial Park (Hwy 51 Park) in LaPlace and the West Bank Park Complex in Edgard this weekend.

Event times are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at both locations.

Children ages 2-12 are invited to participate in an Easter egg hunt and visit with the Easter bunny.

Food, refreshments and prizes will also be provided for participants.

The Egg Hunt will begin at 11:30 a.m.
