SJA students build power tower

LAPLACE — St. Joan of Arc Catholic School Jr. Beta Club members recently attended the State Jr. Beta Club Convention at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, competing in various events.
The Tower of Power team placed fourth at the state convention.
They had 20 minutes to construct a tower out of drinking straws and tape that would support a tennis ball for 60 seconds.
